Disputes and disagreements can escalate and, if not addressed, can erode relationships and workforce morale. Ultimately, it’s the performance and productivity of the business that are harmed when people don’t get along.

Mediation works with individuals to give them a safe space to share their perspectives and help everyone involved move forward in the best possible way. With high levels of success, we work with your people to resolve the issues.

When you have difficulties between employees or between the employer and employee, mediation can be a simple way to resolve issues.

Mediation Services

When you try to resolve issue in-house, you can often be too close to the situation or influenced by internal dynamics. Danton’s mediation service gives you a trained, independent and mediator to manage your difficult situation from start to finish.

We work through the mediation process to allow everyone to be understood, feel listened to and help navigate towards an agreement with an open mind and no judgment.

Mediation is a confidential and voluntary process that supports employees in resolving workplace disputes through open, respectful dialogue. It provides a constructive alternative to formal procedures, focusing on restoring working relationships, promoting a positive, collaborative environment and avoiding nasty fallouts.

How mediation works

Each mediation is different, but it usually starts with one-to-one meetings with each individual. They can share their challenges and concerns with the mediator in a safe space to focus on the issues.

Once this is done, and everyone is ready, we hold a structured and respectful meeting with everyone involved. We ensure constructive mediation is constructive where we negotiate and agree resolutions.

Mediation is strictly confidential. No formal record of the conversation are kept or referred to afterwards. However, any agreements reached during the process will be documented and signed by both parties in the form of a written resolution agreement.

The important part is that by the end of the process, an agreement of some kind is reached.

Mediation can be draining for those involved. We make sure everyone gets the time and space to process the experience.

Our mediation specialists are fully trained and experienced in a wide range of workplace disputes, with a high success rate.
