We work through the mediation process to allow everyone to be understood, feel listened to and help navigate towards an agreement with an open mind and no judgment.  

Mediation is a confidential and voluntary process that supports employees in resolving workplace disputes through open, respectful dialogue. It provides a constructive alternative to formal procedures, focusing on restoring working relationships, promoting a positive, collaborative environment and avoiding nasty fallouts. 

How mediation works

Each mediation is different, but it usually starts with one-to-one meetings with each individual. They can share their challenges and concerns with the mediator in a safe space to focus on the issues.   

Once this is done, and everyone is ready, we hold a structured and respectful meeting with everyone involved. We ensure constructive mediation is constructive where we negotiate and agree resolutions.

Mediation is strictly confidential. No formal record of the conversation are kept or referred to afterwards. However, any agreements reached during the process will be documented and signed by both parties in the form of a written resolution agreement.

The important part is that by the end of the process, an agreement of some kind is reached.  

Mediation can be draining for those involved. We make sure everyone gets the time and space to process the experience.
